World Cup 2018 draw rehearsal sees England land RUSSIA - and prevent big nations in favourable Group A from Tony Smith's blog

The first full rehearsal on the 2018 World Cup draw has place - plus it had some interesting implications for England.   Gary Lineker accepted Twitter to create an image with the draw, which sees the Three Lions in Group A alongside tournament hosts Russia.  The draw would see England play within the competition's initial game on June 14, in the Luzhniki Stadium inside the country's capital, Moscow. It would also cause Gareth Southgate's men - who will be in Pot Two - missing from a quantity of huge nations including Brazil and France.  The rehearsal was staged just days ahead of the real thing, which is going to take place from the FIFA 19 Coins Kremlin on Friday afternoon. Lineker is one from the hosts for your event, and was accessible this week through the rehearsal to make sure everything travels to plan within the day. The Luzhniki Stadium will host the opening game for 2018 World Cup on June 14.
The Match with the Day presenter also latched onto Instagram to create an image from the dressing room he will probably be using on the Kremlin earlier recently. Writing alongside the photo of him within the lavish room, he wrote: 'My dressing room for the Kremlin is similar to Donald Trump's lift.'
