A 'Very Low' Percentage Of Final Fantasy 15 Players Finished The Game In First Month from Tony Smith's blog

Only thirty percent of individuals who played Final Fantasy XV finished it after the 1st month, in line with game director Hajime Tabata. Speaking to Kotaku, Tabata characterised this figure, which is determined by internal data, to be "small.
""There's a clear metric we use to evaluate success," Tabata said. "After one month in the game's release, the amount of players had completed the action, seen the ending, was really very low. Only 30% 1 month after.
"Again, that's just after the very first FFXIV Gil month, in the period from launch at the finish of November 2016 on the end of December that year. Tabata went on to convey that Square Enix's efforts to support the overall game with updates and additional content has become successful to keep people playing and encouraging these phones finish the experience.
The director said the culmination percentage for Final Fantasy XV is at 60 %. "That really fills us which has a lot of confidence, this is justified our approach, so it is something I'm very very happy with," he was quoted saying.
In 2014, a Microsoft designer asserted statistically speaking, many people never finish the games they start. According to IGN, throughout a presentation at GDC that year, Microsoft Game Studios Design Lead Richard Rouse III cited Steam data that apparently established that only 42 percent of players finished Mass Effect 3, 47 percent for Portal, and 32 percent for Skyrim.
Square Enix continues to compliment Final Fantasy XV, having a multiplayer mode called Comrades on the agenda later this coming year. Watch the trailer above for getting a closer look.
